PROCESS

Made to measure
CONSULTATION
Your new kitchen project starts with Brendan listening to your ideas and requirements. He needs as much information from you as possible to take full advantage of space, function, aesthetics and budget. You will also need to tell him what appliances you will require.
To give you some inspiration, examples of his work can be found on this website.
When you are happy to proceed, Brendan will either require a copy of your house plans or he will do an extensive measure of the space available.
He will produce a design for you to approve and a broad timeline for the project will then be agreed. At this stage, the first invoice is created and the deposit paid before proceeding with the project.
SPECIFICATION
The plans and layout (which can be viewed in 3D) will be refined, amended in discussion with you and finalised. The materials, colour, and elements used in the project are being chosen. Brendan’s showroom has lots of samples available to guide you in your choice. The project will then be accurately priced, and orders placed so production can begin.
The second invoice to cover the expense of the materials will be sent to you.
PRODUCTION
The timeframe to build your kitchen will depend on the existing workload and availability of materials. You will be kept informed of any change in the agreed timeline.
INSTALLATION
The kitchen will be set up and assembled as much as possible in Brendan’s Beachlands workshop, measured and cut exactly to exactly the right size. It will then be transported to your home and installed.
Craftsmanship
Brendan prides himself on craftsmanship. That is why you deal only with him at every single step of the process – no delegating to junior staff, no sales people, no excuses! This way the understanding of your project stays with one person allowing the whole process to be smooth and trouble free. The buck starts and stops with Brendan!
Benchtop
While the kitchen is being installed, the made-to-measure benchtop is being manufactured. The benchtop takes a little while to be made, so the new kitchen’s benchtops will be covered with some plywood in the interim, so you can still use your new kitchen.
