Top-quality in front and behind each cupboard door
As an independent cabinet maker, Brendan works with New Zealand and global kitchen manufacturers who provide only proven top-quality products, to provide the best solution for your kitchen. InHouse Design & Concepts has long-standing relationships with its suppliers, which makes it easy to work efficiently and provide fair pricing to clients. A trusting relationship with suppliers prevents problems from occurring and enables Brendan to call in a favour if it’s ever needed.
Brendan believes in doing a job once, and doing it right which is why he uses only the best products available. “If you do it cheap, there will always be issues,” he says.
THE BEST IN EUROPEAN HARDWARE
To provide the best-functioning drawers available, InHouse Design & Concepts partners with three leading international manufacturers of furniture hardware – Blum, Häfele and Hettich. All three are trend-setting German and Austrian furniture fitting companies with showrooms in New Zealand.
“Our aim is to pick the right solution for each kitchen, so we choose the best product for you from the vast collection our partner companies offer,” says Brendan.
CABINET PANELS & ACCESSORIES
So what “look” do you want for your kitchen…modern, minimalist, traditional, farmhouse? Your decision will influence your choice of cabinet panels, accessories, handles and doors. There is a huge range to choose from and Brendan will guide you through the options and show you samples.
InHouse Design and Concepts works with only the best suppliers which, in this case, are Sage Doors, Laminex and PrimePanelsNZ. These companies specialise in innovative designs and offer a huge range of surfaces…Melamine, Veneer, Laminate, Substrates, Concrete, Melteca, Seratone to name just a few.
BENCH TOPS…BUT WHICH ONE?
Bench tops are the key feature of any kitchen and most clients put a lot of thought into what can be a confusing choice when so much is available. InHouse Design & Concepts works closely with Cosentino NZ, part of global family-owned company that produces and distributes high value innovative surfaces.
Bench tops can be made of natural stones such as granite and marble. Or you could choose engineered stone, porcelain or the tried-and-true stainless steel.
TAPS, TAPS AND MORE TAPS
Once again, there is a seemingly endless range of tapware on the market. You will need to consider type (pillar or mixer?), style (traditional, modern, minimalist?) and colour (nickel, brass, matte?). A preferred supplier is Mardeco
Brendan has just one piece of advice: “Choose the best quality…it will save you a lot of trouble in the long run.”
THAT SINK-ING FEELING
Sinks come in a wide range of styles and functionality. For example, they can be farmhouse style made of porcelain or ceramic composite, or black sinks made out of granite composite.
Another option is sink stations, with a chopping board and roller mat extension so you can make use of as much bench space as possible
InHouse Design & Concepts partners with innovative Kiwi companies Burns & Ferrell, and Ikon, both of which provide top-quality sink solutions.
